Charles Romine thanked Joe Guirreri for his dedicated services to ISPAB and federal government. Mr. Guirreri officially joined the Board in 2005 and the February 2012 meeting will be Mr. Guirreri’s last meeting at ISPAB

Deputy Defense Secretary William Lynn III said in a speech Thursday at the National Defense University
and in his speech he unveiled the first Department of Defense Strategy for Operating in Cyberspace, which takes a more active approach to not only defend military systems and networks but to safeguard American cyberspace. The Secretary first outlined the five pillars of the new strategy last August.
