Checklist Summary Users of the wireless benchmark should, at a minimum, review the overall recommended architecture for the benchmark that most closely matches the functional requirements, data protection level, and other characteristics of their intended environments. The general policy tables will give general policies that should be implemented regardless of whether the technology used is wired or wireless—these policies are best practices that are accepted in the information protection industry.  Finally, use the Wireless Policy Checklist and the Products Capability Matrix to help in your product comparison and selection research.  The Center for Internet Security (CIS) document, Assessing the Security of a Wireless Environment, describes methods for conducting wireless site surveys and performing manual and automated monitoring.
