On October 23, 2015, Dr. Charles Romine, Director, NIST's Information Technology Laboratory, presenting a certificate to Dr. Kevin Fu in recognition of his service (.jpg image) as a dedicated member of the ISPAB. This was being Dr. Fu's last meeting as ISPAB member.
- October 2014: David Cullinane joined ISPAB as a new member at meeting (.jpg image) in October 2014.

- October 2014: Matt Thomlinson, Chair, left the Board at ISPAB meeting, October 2014. On the last day of meeting, October 24, 2014, Matt Scholl, Acting Chief, Computer Security Division, ITL, NIST, recognized the Chair's leadership and expressed the Board's appreciation for his service (.jpg image).

NIST hosted ISPAB at NIST, Gaithersburg, Maryland, May 30 -- June 1. Dr. Pat Gallagher, NIST Director, met with the Board during lunch.

Charles Romine thanked Joe Guirreri for his dedicated services to ISPAB and federal government. Mr. Guirreri officially joined the Board in 2005 and the February 2012 meeting will be Mr. Guirreri’s last meeting at ISPAB

- July 25, 2011:
Deputy Defense Secretary William Lynn III said in a speech Thursday at the National Defense University
and in his speech he unveiled the first Department of Defense Strategy for Operating in Cyberspace, which takes a more active approach to not only defend military systems and networks but to safeguard American cyberspace. The Secretary first outlined the five pillars of the new strategy last August.
