The code is provided in two forms. The first is for UNIX based platforms and contains all the code necessary to run the Statistical Test Suite. The second form of the distribution is for PC based platforms and contains the same code as the UNIX distribution plus a graphical user interface (GUI). The GUI assists in configuring the various tests as well as providing graphical output for analysis of the derived test data. Additionally, sample data derived from various sources (e.g., the expansion of e, the square root of 2, and the Blum-Blum-Shub pseudorandom bit generator) is also provided. The source code for the UNIX based test suite is 5.5 MBytes. The source code for the PC based test suite is 8.7 MBytes. The sample data is 43.8 MBytes. The sample data should be extracted and placed in the /data directory.
