U.S. OPM Update on Closing Cybersecurity Skills Gaps
Ms. Lucy Antone’s expansive career covers more than 40 years of challenging Federal talent management workforce opportunities. She is currently serves as a Human Capital Strategist with the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. At this time, she is assigned to the Government-wide Closing Skills Gaps initiative. She is responsible for planning, developing, and evaluating workforce restructuring proposals, systems, and tools. She is also responsible for planning Government-wide workforce restructuring educational events. For ten years, she also served as an OPM Human Capital Officer for more than fifty agencies. In that role, she provided advisory leadership to a wide variety of senior officials on strategic management involving traditional and emerging Federal Human Resources programs. In recognition of her distinguished National service, she has received numerous awards and other commendations from advocate groups, National Veteran Service Organizations, many Federal agencies, and OPM. Her passions and strengths include serving our Nation’s veterans, recruitment, staffing and placement, addressing National diversity needs and jump-starting new initiatives and helping to create emerging employment policies.
