Over 20 years experience in technology and earning an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois. In addition to serving as a tenured professor of Computer Integrated Technologies at Moraine Valley Community College, I also serve as a Guest Lecturer at the Northwestern University Graduate School of Continuing Studies in the area of Information Security Management. Additionally, and for the past eight years, I continue my role as the Director and Principle Investigator (PI) of the National Science Foundation (NSF) Center for Systems Security and Information Assurance (CSSIA @ www.cssia.org). In this role I oversee grant initiatives and regularly disseminate outcomes to academic and professional audiences each year. I have also had the unique experience of testifying to congress in 2004 regarding the need for skilled IT security technicians and professionals.
