What is NICE?
The National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE). NICE represents the continual evolution of Comprehensive National Cybersecurity Initiative (CNCI) 8, extending its scope beyond the federal space to include civilians, industry and K through post-graduate education.
NICE has been structured into four components:
  1. National Cybersecurity Awareness (Awareness)
  2. Formal Cybersecurity Education (Education)
  3. Federal Cybersecurity Workforce Structure (Workforce Structure)
  4. Cybersecurity Workforce Training and Professional Development (Training and Professional Development)

NICE will establish an operational, sustainable, and continually improving cybersecurity education program for multiple segments of the nation on the correct application of sound cyber practices.

If you have an event that you would like to post on this website, please contact us

Information on accepted events will be reviewed and posted. Please submit requests at least 2 months prior to event dates.

The Agencies co-leading the task areas, frequently have representatives speaking at events on a variety of topics. Please send speaker requests to nice.nist@nist.gov with the following information:
