The threat of disclosure of information involves the unauthorized
disclosure
of data or information regarding network elements, either
by deliberate action or by accident. Examples
of disclosure of information include:
- Eavesdropping on phone conversations or on data transmission
which could result in the disclosure of sensitive information such as
passwords, data, and procedures for performing functions; and
- Unauthorized disclosure of routing or address information.
