The NSS Freebl cryptographic module is an open-source, general-purpose cryptographic hash library. It is available for free under the Mozilla Public License, the GNU General Public License, and the GNU Lesser General Public License. The NSS Freebl cryptographic module is jointly developed by Red Hat and Oracle engineers and is used in the GNU glibc library.
