NIST requests review and comments on Special Publication (SP) 800-46 Revision 2, "Guide to Enterprise Telework, Remote Access, and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Security." The comment period is open through October 30, 2020.

NIST has published its 2019 Annual Report for the NIST/ITL Cybersecurity Program, in  Special Publication (SP) 800-211.

NIST Technical Note (TN) 2066, "OpenFMB Proof of Concept Implementation Research," describes recent cybersecurity research related to the Smart Grid.

Two publications, NISTIRs 8259 and 8259A, are now available to provide cybersecurity best practices and guidance for IoT device manufacturers.

NISTIR 8294, "Symposium on Federally Funded Research on Cybersecurity of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE)," has been published, describing a NIST-hosted event from September 12, 2019. It also includes the meeting agenda and seven presentations.

A draft NIST Cybersecurity White Paper is available for comment: "Hardware-Enabled Security for Server Platforms." The public comment period is open through June 2, 2020.

NIST has released a Draft NIST Cybersecurity White Paper on "Methodology for Characterizing Network Behavior of Internet of Things Devices." The public comment period ends May 1, 2020.

NIST has published a new ITL Bulletin (March 2020) that addresses enterprise security solutions for telework, remote access, and BYOD. Also, a new Telework Cybersecurity summary is available on the CSRC homepage and will be updated as new resources are added for organizations and teleworkers. 

NIST has released a draft of NISTIR 8267, "Security Review of Consumer Home Internet of Things (IoT) Products," for public comment. The comment period closes November 1, 2019.

NIST has published Special Publication (SP) 800-52 Revision 2, "Guidelines for the Selection, Configuration, and Use of Transport Layer Security (TLS) Implementations."

NIST has published NIST Interagency/Internal Report 8228, "Considerations for Managing Internet of Things (IoT) Cybersecurity and Privacy Risks."

NIST invites comments on Draft NISTIR 8196, "Security Analysis of First Responder Mobile and Wearable Devices." The public comment period closes February 6, 2019. 

NIST publishes NISTIR 8200, "Status of International Cybersecurity Standardization for the Internet of Things (IoT)"

The Information Security and Privacy Advisory Board (ISPAB) will meet November 1-2, 2018. All sessions will be open to the public.

NIST’s Computer Security Division intends to withdraw three (3) SP 800 publications on October 19, 2018. They are out of date and will not be revised or superseded.

NIST has created an easily accessible repository of terms and definitions extracted verbatim from FIPS, NIST Special Publications, NISTIRs, and CNSSI-4009. Draft NISTIR 7298 Rev. 3 has also been released, which describes the term repository underlying the glossary. Comments are due Dec. 21, 2018.

NIST seeks public comments on Draft NISTIR 8228, which is intended to help federal agencies and other organizations better understand and manage the cybersecurity and privacy risks associated with their IoT devices. Public comments are due October 24, 2018.

NIST’s Computer Security Division intends to withdraw eleven (11) SP 800 publications on August 1, 2018. They are out of date and will not be revised or superseded.

NIST has released a Draft NIST Interagency Report (NISTIR) 8200, Interagency Report on Status of International Cybersecurity Standardization for the Internet of Things (IoT). Comments will be accepted until April 18, 2018.

NIST has published SP 800-125A, Security Recommendations for Hypervisor Deployment on Servers.

NIST publishes Special Publication (SP) 800-187, Guide to LTE Security.

A second round of public comments has started for Draft SP 800-177 Revision 1, "Trustworthy Email"
