NIST is seeking public comments on two draft NIST Internal Reports (NIST IR) for the National Online Informative References (OLIR) Program. 

In July 2022, NIST issued a Pre-Draft Call for Comments on the Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) series of publications.

NIST seeks information for a planned update of the Controlled Unclassified Information series of publications (SP 800-171, -171A, -172, and -172A). The public comment period is open through September 16, 2022.

Participate in the inaugural 30-day comment period for a minor (errata) release of SP 800-53 Rev. 5. Submit your comments on proposed changes through August 12, 2022.

NIST Releases Special Publication 800-172A, "Assessment Procedures for Enhanced Security Requirements."

NIST has released Special Publication (SP) 800-53A Revision 5, "Assessing Security and Privacy Controls in Information Systems and Organizations."

Draft NIST Special Publication 800-53A Revision 5, "Assessing Security and Privacy Controls in Information Systems and Organizations," is available for comment through October 1, 2021.

NIST has published SP 800-47 Revision 1, "Managing the Security of Information Exchanges."

NIST has released Draft Special Publication (SP) 800-172A, "Assessing Enhanced Security Requirements for Controlled Unclassified Information." Public comments are due June 11, 2021.

NIST has published NISTIR 8212, "An Information Security Continuous Monitoring Program Assessment," and the ISCMAx tool that implements the ISCM program assessment described in SP 800-137A.

NIST announces the release of Special Publication (SP) 800-172, "Enhanced Security Requirements for Protecting Controlled Unclassified Information: A Supplement to NIST Special Publication 800-171"

New supplemental materials are available for SP 800-53 Rev. 5 and SP 800-53B: spreadsheets for the Control Catalog and Control Baselines.

Draft NIST SP 800-47 Revision 1, "Managing the Security of Information Exchanges," is now available for public comment through March 12, 2021.

NIST Special Publication (SP) 800-53 Revision 5, "Security and Privacy Controls for Information Systems and Organizations," represents a multi-year effort to develop the next generation of controls needed to strengthen and support the Federal Government and critical infrastructure sectors.

NIST has released two draft NISTIRs for the National Cybersecurity Online Informative References (OLIR) Program: Draft (2nd) NISTIR 8278 and Draft NISTIR 8278A. The comment period for each publication closes September 4, 2020.

NIST has published Special Publication (SP) 800-210, "General Access Control Guidance for Cloud Systems."

NIST has released a final public draft for comment: Draft Special Publication (SP) 800-172. The comment period ends on August 21, 2020.

NIST has published Special Publication (SP) 800-137A, "Assessing Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) Programs: Developing an ISCM Program Assessment."

NIST has released Draft Special Publication (SP) 800-210, "General Access Control Guidance for Cloud Systems," for public comment. The comment period is open through May 15, 2020.

NIST has updated Special Publication (SP) 800-128, "Guide for Security-Focused Configuration Management of Information Systems"

NIST has released two draft publications for comment: SP 800-171 Rev. 2 and SP 800-171B. The comment period for both drafts ends on July 19, 2019.
