The initial public draft (ipd) of SP 800-79r3 (Revision 3), Guidelines for the Authorization of PIV Card and Derived PIV Credential Issuers, provides appropriate and useful guidelines for assessing the reliability of PIV Card and derived PIV credential issuers.
