NIST has published Internal Report (IR) 8558, Report on the Design-A-Thon: Designing Effective and Accessible Approaches for Digital Product Cybersecurity Education and Awareness.

The final public draft (fpd) of NIST Special Publication (SP) 800-171r3 (Revision 3) and initial public draft (ipd) of NIST SP 800-171Ar3 (Revision 3) are now available for public review. The comment period is open through January 26, 2024.

Draft NIST Special Publication (SP) 800-50r1 (Revision 1), Building a Cybersecurity and Privacy Learning Program, is now available for public comment. The comment period closes on October 27, 2023.

The initial public draft (IPD) of NIST Special Publication (SP) 800-171, Revision 3, "Protecting Controlled Unclassified Information in Nonfederal Systems and Organizations," is available for public comment and review through July 14, 2023.

In July 2022, NIST issued a Pre-Draft Call for Comments on the Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) series of publications.

NIST seeks information for a planned update of the Controlled Unclassified Information series of publications (SP 800-171, -171A, -172, and -172A). The public comment period is open through September 16, 2022.

NIST plans to revise Special Publication (SP) 800-50 and potentially consolidate it with NIST SP 800-16 to create SP 800-50 Revision 1, "Building a Cybersecurity and Privacy Awareness and Training Program." A call for comments is open through November 5, 2021.

NIST has released Draft NISTIR 8344, "Ontology for Authentication," for public comment. Please submit your comments by April 9, 2021.

NIST's National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) has released an update of its Workforce Framework for Cybersecurity (NICE Framework) in Special Publication 800-181 Revision 1.

The National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) has released Draft SP 800-181 Revision 1, "Workforce Framework for Cybersecurity (NICE Framework)." The public comment period closes August 28, 2020.

The NCCoE has released Draft SP 1800-16, "Securing Web Transactions: Transport Layer Security (TLS) Server Certificate Management," for public comment. The comment period ends September 13, 2019.
