Luís T. A. N. Brandão - NIST/Strativia

Description

Abstract. This virtual presentation at the ALPSY 2024 workshop presents some insights about the NIST Threshold Call (IR 8214C ipd), with a focus on aspects related to symmetric cryptography. The presentation further describes the scope of the NIST Circuit Complexity project, including research problems (e.g., AND-optimization), goals (e.g., a circuit file format) and related topics (e.g., masked circuits). Finally, the presentation mentions opportunities for research collaboration with ongoing NIST crypto project.
