Dr. Dmitry Zhdanov

Dr. Zhdanov is an Assistant Professor of Operations and Information Management in the University of Connecticut School of Business. His research interests include information security and privacy, large-scale data analysis, design of intelligent agents and social impacts of information technology. His research appeared in leading management journals such as MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, INFORMS Journal on Computing and Decision Support Systems.
Dr. Zhdanov is a member of the University of Connecticut Center for Information Assurance and Computer Systems Security - an NSA Center of Excellence in Information Assurance Research. He serves as an area editor for Electronic Commerce Research and Applications and Information technology and Management journals. He has also organized tracks and sessions on information security at major academic conferences such as INFORMS Annual Meeting.
Dr. Zhdanov is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) since 2007. He is actively involved in the security community, with professional memberships in (ISC)2, ISSA and ISACA. Dr. Zhdanov received his PhD Degree from the University of Minnesota in 2007.
