Getting Ready for the NIST Threshold Call

August 22, 2023

Presenters

Luís T. A. N. Brandão - NIST/Strativia

Description

Abstract. This short rump-session talk will give an update about the NIST Call for Multi-Party Threshold Schemes. Its wide scope includes threshold schemes not only for NIST-standardized primitives/schemes, but also for others with different features/assumptions, including ZKP, FHE, ABE and gadgets. We will explain how the upcoming threshold workshop (MPTS 2023, Sep 26–28) is seeking further public comments [the submission deadline is 2023-Sep-05] to improve the final version of the Threshold Call, and to motivate the community participation and awareness throughout the envisioned process. The threshold call will set to the 2nd half of 2024 the deadline for submission of threshold schemes.
