The ETSI Technical Committee on Cybersecurity (TC CYBER) Quantum-Safe Cryptography Working Group has approved significant updates to Technical Specification 103 744, which addresses Quantum-safe Hybrid Key Exchanges. Additionally, ETSI has launched a new European Standards (EN) development project, funded by the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA), focusing on authenticated quantum-safe hybrid key establishment (AQSHKE). This presentation outlines the key modifications to Technical Specification (TS) 103 744, its anticipated release schedule, and explores the specific requirements and development timeline for the new AQSHKE European Standard.
