NIST Semiconductor Supply Chain Traceability Update

May 19, 2026

Presenters

Sanjay (Jay) Rekhi - NIST

Description

Semiconductor supply chain traceability is too large for any one company to solve. Companies see strategic advantage in supply chain traceability but also potential IP issues/ competitive advantage problems with sharing info on their supply chain with competitors. This presentation was an update on NIST work related to these issues, for example creating a roadmap for hardware supply chain visibility from initial design to end of life. It was part of the May 2026 Software and Supply Chain Assurance (SSCA) Forum.
