Description
The Secure64 Cryptographic Module is a firmware module designed for use only with systems based on Secure64Ā« SourceTĀ«, a limited operational environment running on an Intel Itanium-based server platform. The Secure64 Cryptographic Module provides cryptographic functions that can be used by applications running in this environment. Example applications include DNSSEC signing (secure DNS using digital signatures), certificate management applications, etc. Example functions include key generation, secure key storage, encryption, decryption, hashing, and digital signing.
