ActivCard Applet v2 provides significant enhancement over the ActivCard v1 Applet in service, security, and flexibility. The v2 framework is backward compatible with earlier versions of ActivCard Applets and offers a more open, stable, and flexible platform for developers to build and deploy smart card applications.
