Abstract. This poster showcases various conceivable applications of randomness produced/output by public randomness beacons. A generic applicability is in enabling public auditability for randomized processes. The poster considers various use-cases: selecting random officials for financial audit, randomized clinical trials, legal metrology, random judges for court case, eliminating bias in randomized security checks, and quality control.
