Presenters

Dustin Moody

Description

The NIST PQC Project was reviewed, highlighting the publication of the first set of Post-Quantum Cryptography standards (FIPS 203, FIPS 204, and FIPS 205). The presentation also detailed the selection of HQC in the 4th round, the ongoing process for new "on-ramp" digital signature algorithms, and the development of guidance, such as SP 800-227 for KEMs. Finally, the talk outlined the mandatory U.S. government migration to PQC by 2035, supported by transition guidance in NIST IR 8547 and the efforts of the NCCoE Migration to PQC Project.
