NIST announces the release of draft revision of Special Publication 800-56ARecommendation for Pair-Wise Key Establishment Schemes Using Discrete Logarithm Cryptography. SP 800-56A specifies key-establishment schemes based on the discrete logarithm problem over finite fields and elliptic curves, including several variations of Diffie-Hellman and MQV key establishment schemes. The revision is made on the March 2007 version. The main changes are listed in Appendix D.
