Description

Abstract. FIPS 186-5 is the Digital Signature Standard, and includes several public-key digital signatures which have been standardized by NIST.  In this talk, I'll give a short history of FIPS 186, which has undergone several revisions.  I will also give easy-to-understand descriptions of all the signatures which are included in FIPS 186-5, and talk about what else is in FIPS 186-5.
