Sixth PQC Standardization Conference

NIST plans to hold the 6th PQC Standardization Conference from September 24–26, 2025, in Gaithersburg, Maryland. In August 2024, we published the first three post-quantum cryptographic standards, and work continues on additional standards needed to protect against future quantum computers. The conference will bring together stakeholders from academia, industry, and government—including submission teams from the candidates under evaluation—for in-depth discussions and collaborative engagement. As part of this event, we aim to foster a workshop-like atmosphere to support the ongoing development and refinement of the PQC standards.
